Volunteer Spotlight: Madeline

Madeline

Tell us some fun facts about yourself.

I love to hike and go on long walks, anything outdoors! I am currently learning to ski. I have a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and I am a classical and opera singer. My family owns a blueberry farm in Fall City and we have about 50 chickens! I am currently studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist and have just recently been accepted into the University of Washington’s masters program.

Why did you choose to get involved with CTC, and what do you enjoy most about volunteering here?

I got involved as a way to learn about Early Support Services and because my sister, Katherine, works there as a special educator. My favorite part of volunteering is knowing that I am contributing to the growth and development of the kids!

Madeline joined the CTC Volunteer team in May 2021. As a Program Support Volunteer, Madeline has helped with special projects like painting a beautiful tree/nature scape for one of our classroom busy boards. Her work on this project helps foster an learning environment that is welcoming and engaging. Madeline will also be helping in our aquatherapy group this spring.

Madeline, we appreciate the creativity and expressiveness you bring to your work. Thank you for your service, for choosing to support CTC, and for being involved in your community!
