Meet Meza!

Outreach and Volunteer Manager

Mareza (Meza) Gandy is CTC’s Outreach and Volunteer Manager, a role she has held since 2019. Prior to that, Meza was a program assistant at CTC for many years and has been instrumental in helping build our groups and classes for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

“What I value most about working at CTC is knowing that I am a part of team of dedicated and passionate people helping families in the community. From greeting and welcoming families as they come through the front doors, to helping children learn to walk, to creating fun and accessible events for community to come together, the CTC team is so inspiring! I appreciate having the opportunity to collaborate across departments and work with other organizations in support of families. I’m grateful for the wonderful and kind volunteers who give their time, talents, and resources to support CTC.

CTC’s influence extends beyond just the work day. I enjoy sharing the songs I learned from my program assistant days in the CTC special education classes with family and friends who have children.

I live in Tacoma and it is such a unique city. There are so many hidden gems in this diverse community and so much more to discover. I spend my free time doing anything outdoors and “adventuring” with my family, friends, and dogs. I enjoy traveling to new places and trying new things. This past summer I crossed off a bucket list item and learned how to ride a motorcycle!”
