Volunteer Spotlight: Sarah

Sarah

Tell us some fun facts about yourself.

I have a black lab who I love to take hiking, and I also enjoy swimming. I played water polo and did synchronized swimming growing up. Some of my favorite things to do are go to concerts and spend time with my family and friends.

Why did you choose to get involved with CTC, and what do you enjoy about volunteering here?

I am working towards becoming an Occupational Therapist. I really enjoy working with the kids and seeing how much fun they have when they come to CTC.

Sarah joined the CTC Volunteer team in October 2021. As a Group (Gymnastics and Aquatherapy) Support Volunteer, Sarah plays an important role in modeling behaviors and skills for group participants, acting as an extra set hands for the therapist (set-up/clean-up), helping kids be safe while having fun, and helping them learn or practice skills. Her work helps ensure that therapists can focus their time on the kids and that kids can participate in safe and supportive environment.

Sarah, we so appreciate the kindness and calmness you bring to your work. Thank you for your service, for choosing to support CTC, and for being involved in your community!
