Meet Peggy!

Peggy is a Special Educator in our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program.

What do you enjoy and value most about working at CTC?

I truly value my work at CTC because I know what we do makes a difference! I love working with the kids and their parents and seeing their growth, no matter how small, big, or in between. I am on both the Maple Valley and Enumclaw/Auburn Teams, and I appreciate how our teams support one another. We are always ready to jump in with listening ears and reflective questions to offer suggestions, or to just listen and be heard.

What is your favorite activity to share with families?

I love to connect with the families and ask about their week. What is going well, and what is hard? One of my favorite parts of my job is when parents whose older children attended our Kaleidoscope Play & Learn or our Adventure Pals class bring the child’s younger siblings to class. It is always a joy to meet and play with the little sister or brother! In class, I love to get creative with the kids and explore though art activities and music.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When I am at home, my favorite activity is to spend time with my family (human and furry) and my dear friends.  We love to cook, enjoy meals together, and just hang out.  My husband and I also love to attend live music performances and travel around the country and overseas. I am always humbled by how kind and welcoming people are to us when we travel.
