Inaugural Annual Giving Luncheon Raises $160,000 for CTC

October was an exciting month, in large part due to the success of our inaugural Annual Giving Luncheon! We raised nearly $160,000 to benefit the children with special needs that we are privileged to serve. Way to go!

My gratitude and appreciation to all who attended and are helping spread the word about Children’s Therapy Center. I especially want to acknowledge and thank Sarah Daniels, Steering Committee Chair, and the members of her committee who volunteered their time, resources and talent to make this event possible. I also want to thank the event sponsors and table captains who helped us underwrite the costs of the event and fill the room. Many in attendance were previously unfamiliar with CTC, but all that changed during the course of an hour!

I was especially pleased to welcome several new members to our Pacesetters Club. These donors are truly “setting the pace” with gifts of $1,000 or more. We also announced our new Legacy Giving Circle to give people the opportunity to include CTC in their estate planning. And above all, there was a beautiful tribute given by physical therapist Linda Thompson to our three founders: Sue, Nancy and Gay Lloyd. None of us would be here had it not been for you and your passion and commitment to CTC!
