Health and Safety Guidelines for CTC Services

January 18, 2022

PROGRAM UPDATE:

In our continuing efforts to provide services to families while maintaining safety for all, please note the following:

ESIT (0-3) PROGRAM

Birth to age 3 families: All ESIT home visits, classes, and evaluations will be offered virtually until at least February 7. At that time, we will provide updated information regarding ongoing services. Your CTC team will contact you about scheduling virtual visits.

We recognize this may not meet the needs of all ESIT families, so during this temporary period we will continue to offer limited in-person services by exception. Your CTC team will contact you if your family is eligible for limited in-person services. Exceptions include: urgent feeding needs that can’t be met virtually, complex physical and positioning needs, orthotics and AAC evaluations, barriers to accessing tele-intervention, and complex vision therapy needs that can’t be met virtually.

CENTER (3-18) PROGRAM

Over age 3 families:  All center-based individual services will resume in person services on Monday January 24. Gymnastics group and Boost Readiness classes will not resume until Monday, February 7. All families bringing children to in-person services beginning Monday January 24 will need to wear high quality disposable masks (we can provide these for you).  No cloth masks or gators will be allowed, as they do not offer the same protection as medical disposable masks.

To CTC Families:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Children’s Therapy Center is working to  expand in-person services for families while continuing to offer telehealth as an option for services. To keep everyone safe, we have the following requirements for all in-person services at this time:

  • Contact us immediately if you or your child have symptoms of illness, have been exposed to COVID-19, or if anyone in your household has a positive COVID-19 test.
  • Do not accept or attend in-person visits if you have COVID-19. We will reschedule your session to telehealth.

To limit the number of people at visits:

  • Only essential CTC staff will attend your therapy session.
  • Please limit the number of non-essential family members attending your session; siblings joining the session must be under the immediate supervision of an adult.
  • Most interpreters are available to join sessions by video only.

We remain committed to supporting your child and family in the safest way possible. Adherence to these expectations is a requirement of all in-person services including services at our centers, in the home setting, and in community settings.

Please contact your provider with any questions.
